Wound #1 - a wound from a musket ball in the right side - surgeon diagnosed it as a bruised back, unimportant

Wound #2 - wound in the left hand, fracture of middle finger metatarsal, division of the extensor tendon so that he cannot entirely open it with the other fingers.
